The kids are old enough to be a pillion passenger now so it's time to get back onto a bike.

Bars mounted off top of forks.

When I got this bike it had 12" over forks, looked great but way too long to be legal. This is my solution.
Slipped the forks through the trees and had a brace made to fit on the tops of them. Mount risers and bars directly off the forks.
The bike has stock 750 bars now, so it looks a bit cleaner than the drag bars. It's kind of cluttered like this, but did go through rego inspection.

Way better than the first try.

This looked OK but made the bars very high, drag bars were almost eye level.

Does definitely look better. Always a shame to cut back extended fork tubes.
