2019 Chopper Muster November 30th

Post by Prof » Tue Sep 24, 2019 8:40 am

The bestest South Australian chopper event of the year. Make sure you come. Plenty of room for camping. All help offered for the Friday prior will be welcomed.

Archery was requested last year and I am still chasing up a club who can supply some bows and an instructor. Anyone know of someone to do this?

Reminder, this event coming up in two weeks. Archery has been confirmed. Saturday "The Ride" route has been tested and provides a mix of open road and curves with some great scenery. Stopping at Echunga deli Meadows for fuel, Middleton, Top of Crows Nest Rd and Silver Sands.

Today was spent setting up Prof's Paddock for the Muster. Once again this year we will have knife and axe throwing with the guidance of Bones and Chris... Made up some new axe targets mounted permanently to pallets... just have to fine some room to store them!

The intrepid workers practicing their craft...

All hit their targets... so big smiles for the camera...

New for this year is archery under Bones' tutelage. The master showing his style...

Lionel who works at The Chopper Shed has been working with me... worked 'til 6.45pm. Ken our Lodge lodger has been doing a lot of work around the property in his spare time. Here getting the dining area ready...

Friday will be a full day of final preps. A number of members have offered their help Friday and there will be a merry time that night, pies for tea and who knows what the rest of the evening... a camp fire at least.

So come down and lend a hand and join in the fun and games. Bring the family and camp overnight.

See you all soon.
