Inexpensive solution to 5-7" extended forks for 900 posted by chopaweeza...
Use the 36mm tubes out of an 80's KX, KLX or KLR kawasaki. I've done it to kawasaki front ends about 15 times over the last 20 years and they work as good as Franks. You use the tube & top cap of the Crosser , a tube spacer to fit on the top of the springs and the rest is the original bikes parts. Those different models are slightly different lengths and they give between 5" & 7" extra. Crosser tubes are usually about $50-80 and the tube spacers another $5-10 .
