Private one off build rego

I have asked Choppaweeza provide advice based on his business experience in this forum. There are a variety of ways of avoiding Australian regulations... please don't expect him to give advice in those areas.

Private one off build rego

Post by jonatyre » Sun Oct 24, 2010 9:18 pm

Hi all just joined great site heaps of sweet pics and info which will be handy.
I live in Mount Gambier SA. and 3/4 way through a cafe honda 750/4 (836) conversion.
I am close to purchasing a Aussie Godfather chopper kit from Southern Motorcycles and before I went ahead wanted to know if anyone has had much to do with thiese bikes. Also my main concern was rego in Australia for a one off build the Govt says you are allowed one with no comp plate fitted. Sounds easy but probably not I am thinking.
Any help or info people I can speak to much appreciated.

Welcome aboard. I'm sure you will get some replies soon. Andrew & I came down to Mt Gambier on the bike a couple of weeks ago.
