Yes you need to speak to him. I can also rake your neck and have a bloke who can make slugs if you want.

thanks andrew that wont be a prob just got to get her on the road need a clutch cable adjuster [part that fits into the left side engine case] and some tire's and exhaust also bolt's for engine case.
the guy had used my bike as part's bike for other xs.
i NEED to ride her as soon as possible as it's killing me owning a bike again and not being able to ride it.

Hey OZ if you cant wait get into the shed, find a bolt and nut that fit and drill a countersunk into the bolt head and hacksaw a cut along the length of the bolt. It'll work and 20mins work will get you on the road and not waiting for parts.

I dont have many spares for an XS but Ive got a few bits- clarify for me that bit you need and Ill check out the pile. Is it the bit that rolls on a couple of ball bearings. Its got a little lever and a cable holder bit on it. I think Ive got one of those.

it screw's into the left side engine case u can take the small cover on that case of to adjust the clutch cable at that end.
it looks like two screw's one plastic one metal inside the other and yes it has a cable holder on it.
still havent got workshop manual so gessing at the moment.
