Is that gonna be straight line, point to point or route travelled ?
Madis, give us a bit of your background , what you ride and what you are hoping to find in OZ to ride.

Hey Madis. Give us a bit of a clue.

What make of bike you are after? AU$$$$ to be spent? Chopper, Sports, Cruiser?? How handy are you on the spanners?

Once we have a better idea, the network will begin to work.

Hi,

Yes, that is Estonia. Little country in Eastern-Europe south of Finland.

For the bike I am looking for rather something cheaper to be a start for a project. Cruiser, chopper, classic. I am not into superbikes much. Would be great to get the bike ready to go for about 4000 AUD.

My current bike is chopped 1989 Kawasaki 600cc Ninja 1st gen. Makes a pretty fast bike. I got the bike for about 1100AUD, was in pieces but engine was OK.

As for my ability to work on bike I have been working and building drift/dragracing cars as a hobby for the last about 5 years. Been working on bikes for about the same time. I have a small garage here where i do my work. Mostly for friends and friends of friends. Last year I spent 2 months in Florida in a bigger shop, specialized in building Nissan S chassis based drift cars. So mostly I have been working on cars but I am not new to tools or bikes. It is alot less bike related stuff here since the season lasts only for about 6 months.

And pullmyfinga, thanks, will let You know.

Madis, I'll put you down for a piece of floor or spare mattress at the house for the first night in Victoria.
Will you be travelling by yourself?

A custom bike or a chopper should be something that has had the original essence of its existence altered to project the skills, objectives and artistic vision of its creator so the viewer or “beholder” and the creator can be positively stimulated by the actual bold or sublime beauty of the bike. Both need to project an essence of suitability, practicality, function and righteousness that has no stand for mediocrity or aesthetic blasphemy.

I just wanted to report that I got myself a bike today and I am all set for the mega ride. Since I have my own tent, I only need to book the Port Mac Donnel night in advance, right?

I will try to get some km's done here in the upcoming week, to get used to driving on left.
