A mate and I are working on old cars at the moment and he heards of a way to clean grease and grime off our blocks with 'malasis'

yeah that stuff that horses have!

So all you do is get yourself a big tub with a lid if possible to prevent the smell and fill it 50 to 50 of water and malasis.

Put your stuff in and leave for a minimum 7 days. After that time lift out and the grease just washes off. We are currently messing with the proportions to see if it changes anything but it only cost us 5 bucks!

give it a go, worked for us.

Molasses can be used as a chelating agent to remove rust where a rusted part stays a few weeks in a mixture of 1 part molasses and 10 parts water.
