drill holes in your bars and run the wiring internally, this will clean it up.

on some shovels you could also run the speedo from the tranny, if you still want a speedo that is !

FXwide Glide had the cable coming out of the front left hand side of the gear box. If your's is not an FXWG you will see a boss on the casing where it goes.

When I do my new front end I will run a bicycle speedo. They are cheap and pretty much indestructable, small and light and a single wire runs to a magnetic pickup that you can set up on front or rear (mine will be rear) wheel. They can then be claibrated to get them spot on. They do require a watch battery to power them and the more expensive ones have inbuilt illumination. A couple of the guys over hear just set up a small LED over them to provide noght time light.

Ideal way to go I think... no need to oil cables and grease speedo drive, no thick cable running to front wheel and no maintenance.

Three CA bikes is a good start, Your two Ran and I bet that is Ollie's 750 in the back ground.

Lost the P-Pad, motor done, extended the pipes & drilled fishies, whiskey throttle, new rear fender with tail light, open belt primary, you been busy!

Going away to Halls Gap tomorrow for our anniversary & Her B'day……...going to try and slip in to the show at opening time on the way, hoping she will let me. Don't want to do a 4hr+ drive with a grumpy Missus! Or I might deliberately drive in to a tree or off a cliff just for some peace.
