The paint looks good close up. Jon how about a explanation of how you do it.

Ok , you do the usual primer then a good coat of black. I had it dry for a couple hours . Next you get some cling film from the cupboard . Spray a coat of silver and quick as you can put some film on wet paint and use fingers to make a pattern .
The black lines are from when the edge of wrap stopped any silver from getting to tank. Next you do a few coats of clear. You do the usual wet and dry sanding before clear and stuff . I've seen people do a light cherry red after the clear so you can see through it. I just thought it looked cool and unusual with just the gray.
I think it's on you tube as custom paint .
