How Kool are These

Post by BobbaZooki » Sun Apr 17, 2011 11:08 am

My neighbour , who is a huge motorcycle and motorcycle movie fan , like me , and who is cashed up recently purchased two iconic aussie movie memorbillia from another mate of his who was in desperate need of some quick "cash" . Both of the item are 100% GENUINE and come with a letter of Authinicity from producer / director Sandy Harbutt.
The vest without the leather jacket was the 1st one made , it's a Levi vest
and was made for Sandy Harbutt's approval as the design for the "Gravediggers" . The 2nd one was worn by "Go Down" as he rode off north head into the pacific ocean .The prototype / original one is the one i would like to get my hands on , but to rich for my blood , still tho , it would make an execllent conversation peice in any "shed or bar , even just to have this classic peice of Australian movie history hanging in your lounge room .

Check out the front number plates. Ahh, those where the days!
750/4 Sonic chopper.
A custom bike or a chopper should be something that has had the original essence of its existence altered to project the skills, objectives and artistic vision of its creator so the viewer or “beholder” and the creator can be positively stimulated by the actual bold or sublime beauty of the bike. Both need to project an essence of suitability, practicality, function and righteousness that has no stand for mediocrity or aesthetic blasphemy.

Now

The Forth & Clyde as it stands today.

The car park that was to the right of screen is now all under housing dept units and the street is lined with trees. The industrial areas are now mostly parkland.

The pub had already closed before filming. It appears to be a private residence now although I'm not sure if they run some sort of business from there on the ground floor. I've never seen anyone coming or going though.
