Chops bottom line is your putting on a show in a state at this present time if you ride a motorcycle you very much expose yourself to these unjust inhuman laws. I for one would very much like to attend your show, but if I do I risk going to jail for at least 6 months and if I am accompanied by 2 of my mates we are definitely going for a six month stretch. With a bit of luck before your show takes place all these bullshit laws will be overthrown and all those unjustly locked up will be free. I for one will then be at your show and having a beer with you. Happy new year

I can't believe I'm doing this.. but hey.. here goes...

So.. your words.. not mine.. is that anyone who steps in to Qld.. on a motorcycle... is subject to these laws... and will likely end up in jail for possibly up to 6 months.... and if riding with buddies.. will do a minimum of a 6 month stretch... is that correct.. is what your saying..??

Can I ask.. you do say this.. as a member of an OMC (I'm not looking for details).. or as an independent/social club rider..???

Because yes.. some of what you say.. applies only to one of those groups... and I didn't see too many of them.. at my show this year..

Valid points made by all posters I reckon.

Australian law makers are getting bolder about legislating against anything and anyone they consider a threat. Police are enjoying their new freedoms to stretch their muscles.

I think it will take a massive swing of voter attitude to change the situation and it needs a combined effort by all the groups affected... fishermen, four wheel drivers, gun owners motorcyclists. This generation of the public has been well indoctrinated into totalitarian ways and need re education.

More bike events we can have and the more we can promote motorcycling the more of the public we will have our side.

Hopefully websites like ours also have a positive impact.
