Recently he came across a white metal flaked fibre glass sporty tank from the 70's and decided it was just what he wanted...
He spent quite a bit of time in The Chopper Shed making a stand. We fossicked around and found a chrome evo derby cover which he had stripped. He then spent hours polishing it in the workshop. Mounted directly onto the derby is an HD chrome riser also stripped and then copper coated... and finally a piece of polished stainless bar.
Paint job by Nightmare designs cost a small fortune, but Kev reckons it was worth every penny...
Definitely a case of being prepared, but will his kids will keep it on their mantle?
