Did a little welding on the 89 Sportster project

Need to take the engine out and finish welds asap.....

I would love to trust my welding on a project like that, but I have more sense than to try it ,I do a bit of my own but I know my limitations . I like the line of that frame,there is something about sporties that make them ideal choppers,see ya Lowie.

But seriously folks...

Sporties do make good looking choppers- at least in my opinion.

It's been quite some time since I've posted here, After the big house move, I have been working my tail off and have not had time for projects or even riding much in the last couple years. But it's time to get back to the old ways. So here we go! Here are a couple pictures of the never ending Sportster project that finally started and went for a ride this last week.
