Deus Bike Build-Off 2010

Post by tigerbob » Sat Apr 02, 2011 11:23 am

Saw this at the Deus build off a late last year. Thought it was one of the better bikes there- at least according to my tastes.

Check out the clutch arrangement on the suicide shift:

That's a cool looking bike!
I think a foot clutch would be a better choice. I have ridden bikes with hand shift, there are times when it would suck to not be able to hold the bars with both hands and be able to disengage the drive......
Ride it like you can fix it.

That clutch shifter idea sucks a$$.

Biggest problem with the Deus show was that bikes were supposed to have been built for the show, but that bike and several others, like the shovel in the background have been on the road for quite a while and therefore go against the ethos of the event. Some owners sure got pissy when Much Much Go won it.

Nice looking bike except for the shocks under the seat.
