Just picked up this CB750 frame with Japanese characters instead of the normal frame number. Can any one enlighten us?

We have an answer from a member of Honda CB750 69-78 Australia... Its a stamp made by the department of transport in Hyogo, Japan. Reads "Hyogo 21126 Hyogo"

Much appreciated. Stewart of Motion Motorcycles in Geelong contacted them for me. Thankyou Stewart.
