Riding in the USA

Post by jett » Mon Aug 15, 2016 3:33 pm

Hi guys,
I am heading off to do a ride across the USA in a week or so. I have a hire bike reserved but i am leaning more and more towards buying a chopper and riding that.
Does anyone know anything about getting insurance to cover third-party stuff over there?
Cheers,

Jett

Are you talking property or bodily 3rd party?

We bought a car in '91 in LA and spent nearly a whole day in the rego office (what an experience).

We did have a bit of a hassle (can't remember what it was) but 3rd party wasn't an issue.

Things might have changed since then...
