Forum has just been upgraded to the lastest version!

A few things may still need fine tuning over the next few days to a week. If you come across something that you think needs attention, please post here and I will look into it.

Can we get a couple of different themes/colour schemes installed? This version of phbb is the hardest thing I have ever seen to read...

I have found it harder to read. I increased my page size at bottom right to 125% and that has made it much better, but do agree things are not as clearly separated as on previous style.

Still not perfect, but that other one was naff. Only worked half the time, rest would time out.

Maybe you should delete Shaun as a mod as I don't think he's that interested in this site any more.

Just made a few more tweaks and changes. Most of which won't be visible.

Will look at something to improve the theme too. If people would like a few themes we should be able to do that too.

Might take me the next week or so to work through it all as every day until Thur is booked out for me with long days and evenings.

In the mean time if you see something that needs looking at post here and I will get to it as I can.

Hi,
Dont mind the new forum style but can we bring back the posts since last visit link.
It makes it so much easier to keep up with posts.
I know I can check the date and time in R/Hand side but was Much easier before, less for my age weary and addled brain to remember.

Sometimes I dont know what day I visited let alone the time to the minute to check who posted after I visited. lol.

Anyway what was I saying, ..... Thats right can we get it back please.

Regards
Nigel

Seems to work for me... circle on the left goes red. I do find it all still harder to read and find things.
Also on Index page see list in second blue band down from top under "board Index"... "view unanswered posts, view unread posts, view active posts"...

Hi,
Prof if you are referring to my post I tried it again today and I have posts coming up from the 20th.
I know I have been here since, unless I am dyslexic it doesnt seem to filter out posts by the date and time of my last visit to site.
The old site did when I clicked on "Posts since last Visit"

I found this a very valuable search tool.

Prof,
Think I may have worked it out.
When I look at the main forum page it is showing my last log in as the 19th.
It is then showing me the posts since the 19th.

Is this because I have the system automatically log me in ??

I actually clicked on mark as read but doesnt seem to make any difference.

I am confused as to why it is showing last logged as 19th when I have even made posts after this date.
