Early model Sportster auto advance distributor is a direct swap into WLA.

You could also use a mallory electronic distributor like one of these

will also fit WLA models as they are the same setup as the early Ironheads and at $300 - $350 plus postage thats alot cheaper than a fairbanks, or hunt Magneto and fatter spark, easier tune better advance curves all together a better product you can get these for genny shovels and pans too. I am gettin one of these babies!

mate of mine used a holden dizzy in a 500 single AJS.....just changed the gear drive to the right one.....
