When you are ready to sart your Trumpy for the first time...
Cromag (and Prof adds a few) gives the following advice... Get yourself a manual and make sure all the lubricant is changed to recomended levels and type. Adjust clutch etc. Clean out float bowls and blow out carby jets. Adjust carbies... Set idle mixture screws to recommended settings. Back off idle screws and adjust throttle cable to each carbie so both slides lift in unison. Check plug gaps, points, and timing...
Kick it to life... Trumpy riders recomend a few priming kicks, that is clutch in kick through slowly two or three times (helps unsticky clutches etc), prime her with the tickler on the bottom of the carb until fuel flows out when depressed (im feeling depressed- whats that leaking out of me, oh crap no one light a match/ sorry flashback)...................
When its warmed up adjust idle screws by screwing each screw in equally. When you can handle the thought of shutting it down,....drain the engine oil, (check for shiny bits) do the valves and also check compression.
Give it new oil then go for a ride....

When you are ready to start it, have the oil tank cap off(or nearly off) and as soon as it starts, check for oil return to the tank - may need a flashlight. No oil return means no oil feed. You can then check for oil flow to the top end by cracking an oil feed nut on the rocker box.
