These five photos from Brian Harris the rider of the Indian. It was built by him with an xs650 front end and Honda rear wheel...

These are CycleGear Choppers made in Melbourne and featured in an early 80's Aussie magazine. MadMax trike in background...

Cycle Gear operated from 1974 to 1986 mostly in Elizabeth Street, Melbourne. They built frames, springer front ends, and complete bikes. They also manufactured the fuel and oil tanks, and the electrical boxes. Their frames were identified with a serial number preceded by “CG”.

Brilliant pics, great find!

Love the Indian and the Honda with the prism tank. Interesting location for the front indicators on all the CycleGear bikes
