Cycle Gear operated from 1974 to 1986 mostly in Elizabeth Street, Melbourne. They built frames, springer front ends, and complete bikes. They also manufactured the fuel and oil tanks, and the electrical boxes. Their frames were identified with a serial number preceded by “CG”.
