Also you can check the clearance with the shafts out of the boxs, just use a spacer or washers to tighten the nut up, measure the clearance
machine shaft, dummy up again to check then assemble.

KBG, can you expand on that at all? By machining do you mean counter boring the shaft spacer? Or actually turning down the shaft races themselves. Ok that's an ideal way to fix things, but from what I've read shimming is acceptable so long as the wavy/spring shims are not used. I used a .005 flat s...

Looking great, shimming rockers probably not a good idea they tend to get hammered to bits, you can just machine the shaft to get
the right clearance.

No directional pattern on this tyre. Re dual flange. Before trying KBG's idea, measure distance flanges extend past the rim... mine (before I put on the Honda hub) differed by about 5mm... not sure if all HD flanged rims are different or just some models. Dual flange hub, Easy fix just turn the wheel around, put the sprocket where the disc is and disc where the sprocket is.

hi all I have a xs650 chopper its a plunger rear end I find the when I go over 90ks I get a lot of vibrating in the forwards and handle bars it han not got the top mount on the motor ? is there anything I could do to stop or make it a bit better or is this how they are thanks Vertical twins do vibr...
