Re: XV1100 in Estonia

mhmh, good gear makes all the difference. I have had my fair share of crappy weather riding this year, would be nice to ride in sunshine for a change. First ride here was about +1 and lightly snowing, with proper gear it felt great :)

Re: XV1100 in Estonia

Well yes, the color is not bothering me anymore. Kind of like it actually. But as for the weather, it has been the worst summer in last 8-9 years. Always raining and the temperature sits between 15 and 20. We have had about a week worth of nice weather here in total. Hopefully we'll have a long warm...

Re: XV1100 in Estonia

Well, the damn old HD carbie was not reliable so I changed it and made some other modifications as well. It is moving towards the idea in my head :)

Re: XV1100 in Estonia

The example in the paint store was off, I chose a light turquoise/green shiny powdercoat lacquer witch mea...

Re: XV1100 in Estonia

Well organizing a ride, bikes, events to go to and a place to party is not a problem. But in the local chopper scene is quite slow and everyone keeps more to themselves. We have many evens in summer, some better, some worse and also finns have quite a lot going on. I am not sure if i can organize so...

XV1100 in Estonia

I have kept myself busy here for few weeks now. I decided to build something for myself to ride. Should be ready in about two weeks, depending how much time the painters and chrome takes. Here are few pics of the first assembly. http://www.ribiinia.ee/xv2a.jpg http://www.ribiinia.ee/xv1a.jpg And las...

Allrighty. Some time has passed. I went to Estonian bike show last weekend. Well that sucked, the only thing worth watching was some nice set of boobs on a playboy girl. The bikes were not interesting at all, no choppers, couple hill climb bikes and rest were bone stock and few years old. And the sh...

I will try to update with pics as much as I can. Im a really lazy cameraman but i will do my best. Anyway for the rear I will leave it how it is at first. The whole point of doing it this way is not to run the tube directly from backbone. I did some calculations and used quite strong and thick mater...

It is made in 1989, has 18000k on speedo, runs great, has a small dent on tank, good tires, has rego til end of December. Located in Br...
